the whole thing is just FUN to watch!! but its still emotionally grounded.
at first it seems like its gonna be super cliche, and im not gonna act like its some groundbreaking narrative but it pleasantly surprises
its definitely a trigger anime in spirit (good thing)
also i usually dont really watch dubs but i watched a lot of the nichijou dub recently and its actually really good
it stays pretty faithful and the voice actors did a great job!!
update October 29 2023 I am fully dub-pilled towards all anime
